Personalized engraved 10" clear glass taper oil candles. The bride and groom's names are bordered with tiny hearts. These have a glass base so you won't need to use candleholders. We also offer 10" tapers with a base and 10" and 12" tapers that fit standard candle holders. The tapers pictured are engraved (sandblasted) and then filled with silver leafing. You can also order the tapers etched, gold leafed and frosted (the entire taper is frosted and the design is clear). A wedding tradition involves the bride and groom lighting the Unity Candle together, each with a taper candle to symbolize their union. because these are Oil Candles, we cannot recommend tilting the Tapers to light the Unity Candle; we reccommend using small white wax tapers to carry the flame from the Tapers to the Unity Candle. This has worked for all our couples weddings. Many couples also choose to buy extra glass tapers without engraving for centerpieces. Our tapers burn for hours, and they are re-useable. Brides especially like to match the lamp oil to thier wedding colors... Tapers include woven fiberglass wicks, which are not shown. Each 10" taper holds about 6 oz of oil. We advise the purchase of 1 24 or 16 ounce bottle of oil for the Set of 2 - 10" Tapers and you will have plenty of oil for multiple uses. See our lamp oil section, we off many colors.
