These lovely glass unity candles have a 28 oz capacity and can be reused over and over again!

One of the most cherished newer traditions in wedding ceremonies, the lighting of the Unity Candles symbolizes 'Two becoming One in marriage,' as well as the the union of two families!

There are many options for these candles...Often the groom's mother is escorted by a male usher, while the bride's mother is escorted by the groom, then each mother will light one of the taper candles, symbolizing the two families and lives that are brought together. Alternatively, older children or siblings may be invited to light the tapers. You can choose whatever works best for your family situation and expresses your heart.

You might write a few words together that expresses what lighting the Unity candle means to you. Perhaps select a biblical passage with special meaning for your ceremony, or choose words on the unity of love. The officiant can read the words as an introduction to your lighting the Unity candle.
